I gave my hand to a gentle dream So as a child, I held on to my Dad Wherever he went, I followed, glad That I was his: we were a team I follow this dream, wherever it goes I follow this dream-- It is my call This dream is my life, my soul, my all It's all my faith, my wishes, my hopes My memories, my intense soul longing This dream I obey, this dream I follow My fate, my very yesterday and tomorrow My poetry, my song--my being, its doing This dream and I, this song and poem We belong together, together we roam
